Gymnastics:- Log Roll

We are learning Gymnastics (Rolling) for P.E. this term. For the first week, we learned to perform a log roll.

Can you tell who's doing it properly? Here are the rules:

(1) Stretch arms above head
(2) Body is straight during roll
(3) Feet are tight together

Our First Mid-Autumn in EDP

We celebrated our first Mid-Autumn Festival in Endeavour Primary on 12 Sep 2008. Many of us turned up with our lanterns.

2008 P1 Poetry Recitation

On 27th August 2008, Annette, Jessie, Xuan Lin, Haikal, Richard and Samuel represented our class in the P1 Poetry Recitation Competition. They practised hard before the competition, especially Jessie, who did very well on the actual day. I would like to thank the parents for their support.

Our First ACES Workout

On 28th August 2008, we had our first ACES Workout. We did the hiphop we learnt during our P.E. lessons.

Writing A Diary

On Tuesday 19th August 2008, we learned about writing a diary/ journal/ blog and how these are different from a timetable. This is Kong Min's diary entry for Monday 18/8/08:

In the morning,I had high fever Therefore I didn't go to school. In the evening, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm I went for my English Tuition.

Celebrating National Day 2008

We celebrated the nation's 43rd birthday on 8th August 2008.

We learned more about our national flag - its colours & symbols.

There was also a special gift for each one of us.

Then, we had a special treat for recess.

Free milk, anyone?

We had another special treat today...Do you love milk? We do. It's good for us.

Some of us preferred to read as we had our milk. The others simply had a good chat.

Learning how to dance

We started our dance lessons on 25th July 2008. Guess who's better at it?

Toothbrushing

Learning how to brush our teeth the proper way from the school dentist. Our vey first session on 24th July 2008.

Open House 2008

19th July 2008 was also the Open House. There were many visitors to our classroom.

Preparing for Racial Harmony Day 2008

On 19th July 2008, Racial Harmony Day was celebrated in conjunction with Open House and our third Rainbow Day. Some of us performed the Panda Dance. Here's a picture of us practising on stage with friends from the other classes prior to that.

A Visit to the Singapore Zoo

We went to the Singapore zoo on 11th July 2008 with Miss Lim and Mr Chew. Hong Diao's mummy also went along with us.
