Gymnastics:- Log Roll


We are learning Gymnastics (Rolling) for P.E. this term. For the first week, we learned to perform a log roll.





Can you tell who's doing it properly? Here are the rules:

(1) Stretch arms above head
(2) Body is straight during roll
(3) Feet are tight together

2008 P1 Poetry Recitation

On 27th August 2008, Annette, Jessie, Xuan Lin, Haikal, Richard and Samuel represented our class in the P1 Poetry Recitation Competition. They practised hard before the competition, especially Jessie, who did very well on the actual day. I would like to thank the parents for their support.

On Tuesday 19th August 2008, we learned about writing a diary/ journal/ blog and how these are different from a timetable. This is Kong Min's diary entry for Monday 18/8/08:

In the morning,I had high fever Therefore I didn't go to school. In the evening, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm I went for my English Tuition.

We celebrated the nation's 43rd birthday on 8th August 2008.

We learned more about our national flag - its colours & symbols.








There was also a special gift for each one of us.

Open House 2008

A Visit to the Singapore Zoo

Our second learning journey for the year 2008...


We went to the Singapore zoo on 11th July 2008 with Miss Lim and Mr Chew. Hong Diao's mummy also went along with us.




We saw Dian's favourite animal, the giraffe. Can you see it behind us?
